European Languages Day

Pupils and staff from St. Columban’s College promoted the European Day of Languages on Friday 23^rd September throughout the school.  Pupils held special assemblies and prayers were said in different languages.

First years attended a continental food tasting event in the Home Economics Department and performed songs in other languages.  Throughout the day staff and pupils greeted each other in a number of European languages. 

All in all St Columban’s had a real European feel to it at the start of 2022!
