Essential Skills ICT - After School Classes start Tuesday 27/09/2022 for 20 weeks from 3.15pm - 5.00pm

St Columban’s has been awarded funding from the Northern Ireland Extended Schools program.  As part of our involvement in this program, we are offering Essential Skills Level 1 and Level 2 ICT to Year 11 and 12 students who do not study ICT as part of their GCSE curriculum. Students transferring to 3^rd level education must have a Key Stage 4 qualification in ICT; otherwise they have to study ICT in addition to their chosen course (an extra 3 hours per week. 

We are offering this Essential Skills qualification as an after-school course for one afternoon per week (Tuesday 3.30pm – 5.00pm) for 20 weeks beginning Tuesday 27^th September 2022.  We would strongly recommend that your child avails of this opportunity to gain a recognised qualification in ICT at Key Stage 4.
