Irish

The Irish Department is a vibrant department where the language is taught to GCSE level using a communicative approach. The Irish language and culture is also promoted through in-house activities and community based events. Pupils are encouraged to enter Irish Language, Choral, Solo and Poetry competitions at Feis An Dúin. Many have been awarded scholarships to attend summer courses in the Donegal Gaeltacht. Some of our GCSE Irish students have gone on to study Irish for A Level and subsequently at degree level in University. You are free to request accounting essay help at https://essays-panda.com/accounting-essay.

Links have been established with the Naíscoil and Bunscoil now on site here and we look forward to nurturing and strengthening these relationships. Language students have attended ‘Opportunity Europe and Beyond’ Workshops in Belfast and pupils have visited the Cultúrlann, Art Exhibition and Language centre in the Belfast Gaeltacht Quarter. Pupils have also visited the Irish Language radio station based in Downpatrick.
